Hershey Trip

places, shopping — Red @ 10:44 am

Hi everyone! I’m back.

My trip to Lancaster, PA was great! It was rainy and cold but it was fun. Honestly, I didn’t think I’ll enjoy that much but I was wrong! I’m so glad I went with Noinah. I’ll never forget that trip! I met a lot of people who are from different countries! It was interesting to know how everyone were coping with life as an exchange students. I can somehow relate to how they feel being so far away from home.

While my weekend was enjoyable, LSE was left with the job of moving all our stuff to our new apartment. Thankfully, his brother came to help him out and everything was done by Saturday afternoon. I came home and everything is in place. All I was left to do was cleanup the boxes, organize a few things and do a big pile of laundry.

Considering that this is my first real trip alone with a friend since I’ve been to this country, I must say it was enjoyable! Really fun. I’m really thankful that LSE had pushed me to go. He’s so supportive and I was able to have a really good time.

Busy Week

in a day, pino and yuki — Red @ 12:50 pm

It’s been a very busy week for me. We are about to move into the new apartment building by Saturday. It’s the same complex, just in a different building. As some of you may recall, we were renting a temporary unit while the new building was being constructed. I’m quite excited.

So, here I am taking a short break from all the crap and chaos.

I will be joining my Thai friend to a 2 day weekend trip to Lancaster, PA. We’ll be touring Hershey’s Chocolate World/ Factory, Make our own Pretzels, get a buggy ride to Amish town and lots of Outlet shopping. This should be interesting.

This will be my first time to travel alone with a friend (and a group of strangers) since I came to this country. I hope it’ll be fun. On the other hand, LSE will be taking care of my fur-babies and all the moving.

Lastly, last weekend, we went to Palmer Park and took some fall pictures of Pino and Yuki. LSE tested out our D90 though the weather had been cloudy that day, the D90 handled pretty well!

D90 Video Testing

in a day — Red @ 1:40 pm

Here are test videos of the D90 taken by LSE. These were HD quality video files compressed into YouTube’s file size and format. As you watch the videos, it’ll show how the lens’ focuses on the object and blurs the background.

Tell me what you think.

Birthday Boy

in a day — Red @ 11:50 am

LSE isn’t the type who looks forward to his own birthday. But atleast this time, we did something. We celebrated LSE’s birthday eating at Olive Garden and took the dogs out to the park and The Promenade Shops. But this means I’ll be catching up by January. =_=

We have been testing out the D90 and I must say that camera was so much better than our D40X. It captures so much detail, even Yuki’s eyes that barely shows because of her black markings around her eyes - are now taken better with D90.

I got Leo a handsome coat for his birthday. No games for gifts this year, or he’ll end up playing all day. -.-

Well, Happy Birthday Leo-chan. ^-^

Early Christmas Gift.

shopping — Red @ 8:51 am

A surprise I wasn’t expecting came in last week. Wrapped in a UPS box, I opened it and I shrieked.

It was the Nikon D90.
